2013 In Review - Part 1

What happens when a picture loving person such as myself starts sorting through old pictures?? You end up with way too many pictures for one blog post (thus the two parts!). If you remember from our old blog, I already posted about two of our biggest happenings from 2013 - daddy's retirement and our trip to Germany! I hope you enjoy the pictures I've chosen for an overview of the rest of the year!

Seth Turned 10!

The children (with some help from the fathers!) put on a Mother's Day tea for the mothers from our church. We had a lot of fun trying to keep it a surprise!!

Sabrina, daddy, and I were blessed to be able to attend the Brown family's Memorial Day celebration!

I got to go on my very first canoe ride!! That was a LOT of fun!! :)

The plan!

So, for those of you who are interested, I'm going to give you a peak into my blogging plan for the month of January!

I've got lots of new posts coming shortly!! In addition to blogging about current Cochran family events, my plan is to give shorter overviews of 2013 (the part I didn't blog!) and 2014 and then go more in depth into 2015 (because I'm having too much difficulty weeding out the pictures!!!). By February, we should hopefully be all up to date!

Happy New Year!!!!! 2016

Happy New Year everyone!!! Better late than never, right?!! Hopefully this isn't going to be the story of my blogging life. Anyway...

Even in the midst of challenges and lots going on, God is good ALL the time. All too often, it's easy to get discouraged, but I need to remember to look up. He is faithful always. I was thinking earlier today on the fact that trust wouldn't be trust if we could see the road ahead. He wants us, He wants ME, to just let go and leave it all with Him.

The Lord has graciously blessed us with another year. Praise Him!!! It's good to be back to blogging again. I look forward to,  hopefully, keeping it decently up to date. :)
